House of Emirates® is proud to present its elite clientele with an extraordinary gold masterpiece — a Byzantine gold solidus of Emperor Heraclius (610–641 AD), struck circa 636–637 AD at the imperial mint of Constantinople.
This magnificent solidus (Diameter: 22 mm, weight: 4.44 g) captures the golden age of Byzantine power and faith.
Obverse (Vs.):
Depicts Heraclius, flanked by his sons Heraclonas and Heraclius Constantinus, each holding globus crucigers — symbols of divine authority and imperial dominion. The central and right figures wear bejeweled crowns, and a delicate cross adorns the upper left field, representing the divine protection over the empire.
Reverse (Rs.):
Inscribed with VICTORIA AVGV B / CONOB, showcasing a stepped cross rising in majesty — the eternal emblem of Christian triumph. The left field bears a monogram, the right an I, with the mintmark CONOB affirming its Constantinopolitan origin.

Condition:
Brilliant gold with a minor flan flaw at the edge on the obverse, light scratches and small graffito “A” in the reverse field. A remarkably well-preserved example, graded almost extremely fine (fast vz).
This coin stands as a testament to the Byzantine Empire’s divine kingship, craftsmanship, and enduring faith — a tangible link to an era when emperors ruled under the shadow of the Holy Cross.
